Google Maps With or Without JavaScript

Mika Tuupola shared his experience over his blog about using Google Maps without JavaScript . The problem faced was map empty for empty for browsers with JavaScript disabled, and the render time which was too long. We can probably talk also about accessible maps here. He wrote a static version of Google maps which works without JavaScript, render faster, and defintely solve the previous problems. The only difference that the new static map don’t provide bubbles, but I think it’s great work if we talk about accessibility and rendering speed. Google Docs Goes Offline

Google just rolled out Google Docs offline, a feature announced previously at end March . A Microsoft Office killer feature that is going to change the way you use Google Docs web application. The new feature is powered by Google Gears , and allow you to keep working on your documents even when connection is lost. Once you are back online, the documents sync up with the server. Currently Google Docs Offline support only documents, presentations and spreadsheets will be probably supported in future versions.
